Location: Detweiller Park, Peoria, IL
(Detweiller Park is located on Illinois Route 129)

Directions:
-Take Interstate 55 North to Lincoln, IL
-Take Interstate 155 North from Lincoln, it splits off of 55 to your left (signs will say Peoria)
-Take Interstate 74 west (155 ends) you must take 74 either east or west (Take West)(Signs will say Peoria)
-Drive west on Interstate 74 until you reach Peoria
-Cross the Illinois River
-Exit at Adams St. (Illinois Route 29)
-Drive north on IL.Rt. 29 approx. 6 miles
-The park/course is on the west side/left side of Rt. 129

Schedule
-Dismiss from class at 11:00am (make sure you ask all teachers for missed homework)
-Bus will leave Liberty at 11:15am
-8th Graders can eat lunch during their normal lunch hour (10:39-11:09)
-6th and 7th graders will need to bring a healthy sack lunch to eat on the bus
-Bathroom break approximately half-way to Peoria
-2:15/2:30pm Arrive at course
-3:30pm (course walk)
-4:30pm GIRLS VARSITY RACE (2.1 miles)
-5:00pm BOYS VARSITY RACE (2.1 miles)
-5:30pm (Open Race – girls/boys combined)(2.1 miles)
-6:00pm Awards Ceremony
-6:30pm Leave Course
-Eat at Quiznos on the ride home
-10:30 pm Arrive back at Liberty

Please bring your uniform, running shoes, spikes(if you have these), socks, homework, book to read, cold weather clothes, warm weather clothes, rain clothes, water bottle, sports drink, snacks, money for dinner, money for t-shirt (optional)

** All Varsity/Dunlap runners will practice Saturday, September 22nd from 10:30am – Noon with Coach Seymour. Please meet on the Liberty track.
